Who Can Relate? WHOOO is a meme consisting of either rapper Logic or the titular phrase. It is a versatile meme whose usage has varied throughout its life, from an ironic catchphrase to a somewhat sincere hashtag.

On August 17th, 2017, Maryland artist Logic released the single “1-800-273-8255”, a song about suicide and mental health. While successful, it didn’t go without criticism, the brunt of which being a line in the first verse:

I've been on the low
I been taking my time
I feel like I'm out of my mind
It feel like my life ain't mine
Who can relate? Whoo!

This raised concerns about if Logic was aware of the gravity of the content he was singing about, as it comes off as him being ‘happy’ about suicidal ideations. The phrase was first used as a non-sequitur when posting a picture of the then-new Ice Cream Man, though it wouldn’t be until the 14th of May when ACS would reveal the context. On June 2nd, the “Whoo!” part of the line would be emphasised. On August 16th, ACS posted an analysis on whom Logic is referring to, which quickly turned into an indictment about the song itself.

Currently, the phrase itself has become a hashtag, used primarily on the Tweetpile, which indicates an ironic plea for relatability, much like "me too thanks" on Reddit forums.
