Cereal is a clipart image of a cyan bowl of nondescript cereal. It (and the concept of cereal in general) has become almost like an antagonist to ACS’s twitter, and frequently is used as a scapegoat.
It was first referenced in a tweet simply stating what ACS ate, but soon turned into a method to post old, ‘dead’ memes featuring a bowl of cereal. It was originally going to be ‘disintegrated’, much like characters in Avengers: Infinity War, but after an hour working on the image, ACS could not create it, and instead voiced their ire on twitter, declaring “FUCK Cereal”.
On April 1st, 2019, the twitter page became a page solely dedicated to Cereal, much like Tobi Tanks the year prior. Citing Article 13 (a controversial European enactment predicted to cause a possible ban on memes) as reason for the change, the page put out dead memes for the remainder of the day. It changed back at the end of the day. It was planned for the event to end with a Twitter News story about Cereal being 'assassinated', complete with comments about the story from sockpuppet accounts, but due to the shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle the night prior, it was nixed due to being in bad taste.
The dummy account "stupidcitations" featured a bowl of cereal as its profile pic and banner.
